A Path Through the Clouds
We walked through rain-soaked paddy fields, along narrow stone trails and quiet village edges, while the clouds moved slowly across the hills around us.
Somewhere in Nagaland, the rain had softened the edges of everything.
The hills disappeared into mist. The fields turned impossibly green. And the path ahead became the only thing that mattered.
We walked through rain-soaked paddy fields, along narrow stone trails and quiet village edges, while the clouds moved slowly across the hills around us.
There was no view to chase. No landmark waiting at the end. Just the land, the weather, and the feeling of being completely inside the journey.
With every step, the familiar seemed to fade a little further away.
The sound of rain became part of the landscape. The mist moved between the hills. Water gathered along the paths. And the green around us seemed to stretch endlessly into the clouds.
It was not about reaching somewhere. It was about walking slowly enough to notice where we already were.
Because some places aren’t meant to be seen from a distance. You have to walk through them. Feel the rain on your skin. Follow the path as it disappears into the mist. Let the landscape reveal itself at its own pace.
And sometimes, when there is nothing left to chase, you begin to experience the place differently.
These moments unfolded during our Wilderness & Tribes Nagaland Journey, where the path itself becomes part of the story. 🌿
